faqs:
  - question: Where is Parallel Commerce based?
answer: In Belgium. You can meet in Brussels, or run the project on a call. The same people stay on it from the first workshop to launch.
  - question: Can one Shopify store run Dutch, French and English?
answer: Yes. Shopify publishes each language on its own URLs, while orders, stock and customers stay in one admin. The work is deciding which languages your customers actually need, then keeping them in step as the catalogue grows.
  - question: Do you have a Belgian case study?
answer: Not with numbers we can publish yet. We would rather show Fáilte Foods and Forty Clothing than invent a local logo wall.

Parallel Commerce is based in Belgium. That is where the practice sits. You can meet in Brussels, or do the whole project on a call.

Belgian and Benelux businesses come to us when Shopify has to sit next to an ERP, a wholesale list, or more than one language.

## Languages, currency and tax

The store can trade in EUR. It can serve Dutch, French and English on one Shopify store, where the business needs them. [Running a multilingual store from Belgium](/insights/multilingual-shopify-store-belgium) covers how we choose which languages earn a place.

B2B sales inside the EU often need VAT number validation at checkout. That needs Shopify Tax and at least one fulfilment location in the EU. The [VAT number guide](/insights/shopify-vat-number-validation-checkout) sets out which shipments it covers.

## Published proof

We have not published a Belgian case study with numbers yet. The builds we can show are [Fáilte Foods](/work/failte-foods), a Glasgow wholesaler on Shopify Plus, and [Forty Clothing](/work/forty-clothing), a Glasgow retailer.

If you are in Belgium and the store is behind the rest of the business, [book a call](/start#book). Ask for Matthew Collins.
